Dr. Kainzbauer also has 12 years of experience in international education, including the position of Vice-Director of International Studies at Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration. Prior to joining Mahidol University, Dr. Kainzbauer held the position of Associate Dean of the Business Faculty at Asian University, Thailand.

Dr. Kainzbauer has conducted a variety of executive training/coaching in the areas of international relocation, cross-cultural teams, international negotiations etc. for companies such as GlaxoSmithKline, General Motors, Hutchison, Merck,…>

Dr. Astrid Kainzbauer received her PhD Degree in International Business at Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration, Austria. She specializes in the area of Intercultural Management and Organizational Behavior. She has several years of teaching experience in this field and has been a visiting lecturer at business schools in Western and Eastern Europe, as well as Australia and Asia. Her research interests include intercultural management, intercultural training as well as cultural influence on teaching/learning styles.
