Operations Strategy: Case Example of Differentiation Strategy in Airline Business

Abstract

Operational strategies are visions and long-term plans which about transforming of inputs into products and/or service for customers. The vision is to focus on the organization as a function of the company’s functional areas. Can be practiced and resulted should according to the vision as setting. When setting up a vision or a purpose in the work, it will need to formulate a strategy that can be followed to achieve the intended goal. This article offers the operation strategy for implementing various approaches. Focus on achievement in the goals of the organization as it is presented to the society. This article will present a case study of the application of operational strategies to EVA Airline along with presenting the problem and analyzes the application of EVA Airline’s operating strategy to result that it is successful in operations.
