Abstract

The Information System is one of the key factors in business processes of present organizations, which are severely competitive. Due to the Emergence of the Global Economy and transformation of Industrial Economies, in which many major industries have been being transformed, is based on knowledge and information. Consequently, each organization has to change for survival and be prepared to deal with ever-changing environments. In Starbucks case study, Information technology has been applied to the business to enhance the efficiency of the organization’s processes, enhancing the quality of products and services that will be delivered to customers. This is the current success factor of Starbucks Coffee Company.
