Abstract

Supply chain management (SCM) is the strategic management concept aiming to establish collaboration between organizations within supply chain. The purpose of SCM is to reduce total cost and to create value to goods and services, which eventually lead to higher customer satisfactions and enhanced competitive advantage of organizations. This paper presents a case study of applying SCM strategy in retail industry. This paper reported SCM implementation in Ek-Chai Distribution System Co., Ltd (Tesco Lotus) along with their strategies and critical success factors.
