Abstract
Since, organizations encounter with fierce competition and high pressure to survive under business uncertainty. Innovation has become a key driver for organizations to create sustainable organizational competitiveness in a business competition. The purpose of this study is to propose an analytical approach along with a model to assess an organization‘s level of innovativeness. The assessment model is constructed with the key dimensions influencing an innovative organization to analyze the current level of organizational characteristics required to be an innovative organization and also diagnose the strategic areas needed for improvement. Based on the results, the management team can determine the proper strategic direction along with the development of a strategic roadmap guiding their organizations to become an innovative organization.
