Abstract

Nowadays, young tourists travel more, stay longer at the tourism destination and spend more money on their trips and one of the fastest growing areas of tourism is cultural and heritage tourism. This article aims to investigate the satisfaction of young tourists and three main factors, including perceived value, learning and uniqueness. The tourism destination in the current study was Ayutthaya, one of the most important cultural and heritage sites in Thailand and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Questionnaires were used to collect the data from the young international tourists visiting the cultural and heritage tourism sites around Ayutthaya. The results showed that perceived value indicated the highest influence on satisfaction, followed by learning and uniqueness.
