Abstract

The current study aimed to investigate the effects of job characteristics, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment on turnover intention of temporary employees working at an airline company in Thailand. Using a self-administered questionnaire, data were collected from 350 temporary employees of the airline company. Collected data were analyzed using regression analysis and the results indicated that skill variety, job feedback, task significance, co-worker satisfaction, supervisor satisfaction, pay satisfaction, and normative commitment significantly affected turnover intention of temporary employees. Practical implications as well as suggestions for future research were also discussed.
