Abstract

Implementation of quality management in healthcare service providers has changed meaning of service or medical operations in hospitals. However, several hospitals have used this quality management philosophy to create only business performance results as they believed in technologies and standard operations rather than organizational issues and human resource. The implementation without true understanding of the team members would result in failure or unsustainable in quality management. For instance, increasing quality level without patient or customer focus will not significantly affect organizational performance.
