CMMU to Host International HR Conference in 2009

CMMU, in conjunction with the University of Technology, Sydney and the International Employment Relations Association, will host the International Employment Relations Association 17th Annual Conference (IERA 2009) between June 30 – July 3 2009 at CMMU.  This year, the conference is themed Advancing the Quality of HRM & HRD in the Global Economy.  HR scholars around the world are expected to come to CMMU to share their research findings and informed ideas on how to improve organizational performance through people. 

Papers addressing the following themes are welcome for submission:

1) HRD & HRM Policy,
2) Organizational Culture and Power,
3) ER Processes: Collective and Individual,
4) Community Resource Development,
5) HRM Outcomes: Empowerment, Job Satisfaction and Productivity,
6) Workplace Learning,
7) Values, Politics, Power, Ethics and HRD,
8) Employment Relations in Public Policy Level,

Conference participants will gain some insights into the latest HR knowledge and practices from scholars in the field.  Details about paper submission will be provided in due course.
