Asst. Prof. Dr. Vichita Ractham's research report on management of enterprise information systems, co-authored by her student, Mr. Lindsay Stuart, has been accepted for publication by Enterprise Information Systems, an international journal by London's Taylor & Francis.  The report is entitled Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP): Technology Acceptance in Thai Universities.  The study aims at identifying the factors associated with computing satisfaction for existing legacy systems and the perceptions of usefulness and ease of use of ERP system for Thai university staff.

The results indicated significant relationships between university tenure and system satisfaction, and that computer experience, age, prior knowledge and education were significantly related to ERP perceptions.  Diversity is also required in administration staff to allow new ideas to be recognized and exploited.  These findings offer some important managerial implications for practicing managers based in Thailand and else where in Asia.

Enterprise Information Systems is indexed in Scopus, the world's largest abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed journals.  Publication of this report comfirms CMMU's status as a leading business school in Asia.
