CMMU Leadership Research in Textbook Available for Business Schools Worldwide

An international journal publication by Asst. Prof. Dr. Sooksan Kantabutra published in 2008 in Journal of Applied Business Research has been requested for a reprint as a book chapter in a management textbook by Sage Publications, a world's leading international publisher based in California, USA.  The journal article, entitled "What Do We Know About Vision?", discusses theoretical concepts and research findings on organizational vision, much research of which was conducted by Dr. Kantabutra himself.  Managerial applications for practicing managers and aspiring leaders can also be drawn. 

The textbook, in its 2nd edition, by Professor Gill Robinson Hickman of the University of Richmond in Virginia, USA, is entitled Leading Organizations: Perspectives for a New Era.  Other chapter authors of this book are some of the world's renowned leadership scholars such as Peter Senge, Richard Daft, Gary Yukl, Jay Conger and Bernard Bass.  The book will be available for business school students and instructors throughout the world in November 2009. 

The reprint of this research publication confirms that CMMU research does make a profound impact internationally and that research we teach in our Master of Management program is cutting-edge and plays a role in leading the development of the world's body of management knowledge.  CMMU, the only research-intensive business school in Thailand, is indeed a business school in Asia that actually leads.
