CMMU Faculty's Latest International Journal Publication on Transformational Leadership in Higher Education

on .

A CMMU research report, entitled "Vision Effects: A Critical Gap in Educational Leadership Research", by Asst. Prof. Dr. Sooksan Kantabutra has been published in International Journal of Educational Management indexed by SCOPUS, the world's largest database of peer-reviewed literature.  The report has appeared in Volume 24, Issue 5.  Click here for a full report.

Dr. Kantabutra's report proposes a significant research model that investigates relationships between organizational visions and performance of higher educational institutes as measured by the Balanced Scorecard approach.  Taking into account vision realization factors, the proposed model is built upon Kantabutra's theory of organizational vision, CMMU's first internationally recognized theory of management.  More specifically, the model anticipates that vision attributes of brevity, clarity, abstractness, challenge, future orientation, stability, and desirability, and vision content relating to financial stability, student satisfaction and growth, process improvement, and learning and faculty satisfaction can enhance performance through four vision realization variables.

Counted toward the attainment of Mahidol University's vision of being ranked among the world's top 100 universities in the next two years, publication of this SCOPUS-indexed report comfirms CMMU's status as a leading business school in Asia.
