Thailand Research Fund has awarded Pisanu Vimolratana, a CMMU PhD Candidate, a Royal Golden Jubilee Research Assistant Grant of 1.5 million baht.  Pisanu's research ability was a subject to extensive scrutiny.  With his record of internationally refereed publications recognized by Thailand Research Fund, Pisanu is the first doctoral student in the management field in Thailand to receive the grant, a clear indication of the high quality of CMMU PhD program and students.

Under Assistant Professor Dr. Sooksan Kantabutra's doctoral supervision, Pisanu has been investigating sustainable leadership practices in Thai businesses with the CMMU Leadership Research Group, a Thailand Research Fund funded group.  In addition to funding Pisanu's PhD study at CMMU, the Royal Golden Jubilee Grant also includes one year of worldclass research training at the Macquarie Graduate School of Management in Sydney, Australia.
