Dr. Roy Kouwenberg awarded the Royal Golden Jubilee Ph.D. Grant

Assistant Prof. Dr. Roy Kouwenberg, CFA, has been awarded a Royal Golden Jubilee-Ph.D. grant from Thailand Research Fund, in co-operation with the Office of the Higher Education Commission and the National Science and Technology Development Agency. Commemorating His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej's Golden Jubilee year of reign, the Royal Golden Jubilee-Ph.D. program was set up in 1996 to produce Ph.D. graduates at the international standard to help develop research and higher education in Thailand.  It has so far produced 1,046 Ph.D. graduates with 2,380 internationally refereed journal publications and 39 patents. 

Listed as one of the Royal Golden Jubilee awardees, Dr. Roy will be able to recruit a highly qualified Ph.D. student to study with him at CMMU in the field of finance and corporate governance.  The chosen Ph.D. student will be fully sponsored for his/her study at CMMU by the Royal Golden Jubilee-Ph.D. program.  This includes a period of time spent overseas to work with an internationally recognized scholar in the field.
