Dr. Punnakitikashem was a session chair and present 2 papers in IEEM 2009

IEEM (Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management) is the leading international conference aiming to provide a forum to disseminate, to all branches of industries, information on the most recent and relevant research, theories and practices. In this year, the meeting was held at the conference Hong Kong during December 8-11, 2009. There were more than 500 participants from countries around the world.  Dr. Prattana Punnakitikashem was invited to be a session chair of the “global manufacturing and management” session at the IEEM 2009 conference.  

Besides serving as session chair, Dr. Punnakitikashem has submitted two research works in the area of operations management. The first paper investigates quality management and organizational management practices of automotive industry in ASEAN region. The second paper is associated to organizational behavior theories in lean manufacturing Implementation. These two research works were successfully presented at the IEEM 2009 conference.
