Mahidol University's Leadership Research Group's 1st Presentation on Sufficiency Economy Business Indicators at Thailand Research Fund

Mahidol University's Leadership Research Group (LRG), based at CMMU, has been awarded a new grant, estimated at 2.5 million baht, from Thailand Research Fund (TRF) and Office of the Royal Development Projects Board (ORDPB), Chairman of the Board of which is H.E. Abhisit Vejajiva, Prime Minister of Thailand, to develop Sufficiency Economy business indicators as part of a national program to celebrate His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej's 84th Birthday Anniversary in the next two years.

Assistant Professor Dr. Sooksan Kantabutra, LRG Chief Researcher, will lead a team of CMMU top-notch researchers to develop the Sufficiency Economy business indicators, extending LRG's previous research on Sufficiency Economy Leadership Practices, also sponsored by Thailand Research Fund.  The Sufficiency Economy business indicators project will be advised by a team of prominent business leaders in the country.

The LRG team comprises Assistant Professor Dr. Vichita Ractham, Assistant Professor Dr. Nathasit Gerdsri, Dr. Pornkasem KantamaraDr. Molraudee Saratun, Dr. Parisa Rungruang and Dr. Phallapa Petison.  Some CMMU PhD students will also take part in the project as part of their research training. 

The LRG team has successfully delivered its first presentation to Thailand Research Fund on January 5, 2010.  Among the audience were:
