CMMU Faculty's Latest International Journal Publication on Negative Vision Effect

on .

Asst. Prof. Dr. Sooksan Kantabutra has published his research on visionary leadership in Thailand in Singapore Management Review: Asia Pacific Journal of Management Theory and Practice, an international journal indexed by SCOPUS.  The report is entitled Negative Vision Effect in Thai Retail Stores, appearing in volume 32, issue 1.

Many management authors, scholars and consultants often assert that espousing a vision leads to superior business performance.  On the contrary, Dr. Kantabutra's research has identified an organizational condition in which espousing a vision instead brings about negative effect on business performance in Thai retail industry. Corporate leaders who wish to adopt the visionary leadership concept in their organizations must be aware of this condition to ensure the most effectiveness.

Scopus is the world's largest abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed research literature that leading universities worldwide subscribe for their faculty and students. CMMU students do not have to wait, but are currently learning about this research's findings and able to use them to effectively inform the application of visionary leadership in their organizations. Publication of this report confirms CMMU's status as a leading business school in Asia.
