CMMU Faculty's research work on reverse logistics was published.

Dr. Prattana Punnakitikashem, CMMU faculty, along with Pongpat Tungkaprasert and Dr. Tritos Laosirihongthong from Thammsat University, have recently published their research work in Ladkrabang Engineering Journal [Volume 26 No. 3 (2009)], which is the approved national journal by Thailand Research Fund (TRF).  The purpose of this paper is to prioritize enabling factors in implementing reverse logistics within supply chain integration by using Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) technique. Twenty-one experts from manufacturing, logistics, and academic sectors evaluated these factors with respect to the impacts to the success of reverse logistic implementation.

The AHP approach is employed to determine the priority weight in order to prioritize the degree of importance of each factor. The results show that long-term relationship/commitment with customer is the most important factor whereas selecting of third party logistics providers business group is the least significant one to the success of reverse logistics implementation.
