Latest CMMU Faculty's Textbook on Sufficiency Economy Leadership Practices by Thailand Research Fund

on .

A new textbook entitled Sufficiency Economy Leadership Practices by CMMU Leadership Research Group has been launched nationally by Thailand Research Fund.  The first textbook of its kind for business schools around the country demonstrates real-world business applications of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej's philosophy of Sufficiency Economy in five highly successful listed companies (Siam Cement Group, Kasikornbank, True, Tipco and PanAsia Footwear).  An outcome of a two-million-baht research grant given to the CMMU Leadership Research Group in 2008, this textbook contains practical insights on how to ensure long-term sustainable success, which otherwise would have been a secret.

The Leadership Research Group members who contribute to this textbook are Assistant Professor Dr. Sooksan Kantabutra, Assistant Professor Dr. Vichita Ractham, Assistant Professor Dr. Nathasit Gerdsri and Dr. Pornkasem Kantamara.  As a continuing research project in 2010, the CMMU Leadership Research Group is currently in the process of developing Sufficiency Economy Business Standard for use by the Office of Royal Development Projects Board in determining winning business enterprises to receive royal trophies from His Majesty the King.  Indeed, CMMU is "Wisdom of the Land".
