CMMU Research Making Impact Internationally

on .

A research article, published earlier this year by CMMU Assistant Professor Dr. Sooksan Kantabutra and Professor Gayle C. Avery of Sydney's Macquarie Graduate School of Management, has been requested by McGraw-Hill in New York for inclusion in a textbook entitled Crafting & Executing Strategy: Text and Readings to be launched worldwide in February 2011.  This textbook is a popular textbook in the strategic management field, given its 18th edition.

The CMMU research article, The Power of Vision: Statements that Resonate, first published in Journal of Business Strategy, a top strategy journal, reports findings on cross-continent vision research, revealing that effective visions are characterized by conciseness, clarity, abstractness, stability, future orientation, challenge and desirability or ability to inspire in Australian, Thai and US businesses. Such visions are associated with higher performance outcomes.  Click here for full report.

A reprint of the CMMU research report, clearly making a profound impact internationally, has confirmed practicality of CMMU management research and a status as a business school in Asia that actually leads.
