CMMU Ph.D. Students’ Success at the ANZMAC Conference

A team of CMMU Ph.D. students and their faculty advisor successfully presented five papers and actively participated at the Australia & New Zealand Marketing Academy (ANZMAC) 2010 Conference held in Christchurch, New Zealand. Three papers from the dissertation of CMMU Ph.D. Candidate Yuanfeng (Bonnie) Cai were presented, joint work with her advisor Asst. Prof. Dr.Randall Shannon. Bonnie’s paper “Personal Values and Mall Shopping Behavior: The Mediating Role of Attitudes of Chinese and Thai Consumers” was selected as Best Paper in the International and Cross-Cultural Marketing sessions of the conference. CMMU Ph.D. students Jaratchwahn Jantarat and Sarinya Laisawat also presented two papers at the conference, on ”The Effect Of Fashion Involvement On Shopping Behaviors” and “The Shopping Behaviours of Fashion Innovative Thai Consumers”.
   The ANZMAC Conference is one of the leading academic marketing conferences in the region. The official journal of ANZMAC, the Australasian Marketing Journal, is published by Elsevier and listed in Scopus.
