CMMU Vision Research Making Impact Internationally

on .

A vision report by CMMU Associate Professor Dr. Sooksan Kantabutra and Professor Gayle C. Avery, first published in Journal of Business Strategy, has been reprinted in a textbook entitled Crafting & Executing Strategy: Concepts and Readings: Text and Readings launched worldwide by McGraw Hill in New York, USA. This popular textbook is now in its 18th edition.

The reprinted CMMU report, entitled The Power of Vision: Statements that Resonate, is included in the textbook as the second chapter in its Part Two Readings in Crafting and Executing Strategy. The vision report discusses findings on effective vision characteristics in three continents of North America, Asia and Australia, revealing that effective visions are characterized by conciseness, clarity, abstractness, stability, future orientation, challenge and desirability or ability to inspire in Australian, Thai and US businesses. Such visions are associated with higher performance outcomes. Click here for full report.

The reprint of this report confirms CMMU's status as a leading business school in Asia.
