Research by CMMU Ph.D. Student and Faculty Member Accepted for Publication

on .

Joint research by CMMU Ph.D. student Yuanfeng Cai and Assistant Prof. Dr. Randall Shannon has been accepted for publication in the Australasian Marketing Journal (AMJ), an international academic journal listed in Scopus. The title of the article is: “Personal Values and Mall Shopping Behavior: The Mediating Role of Attitudes of Chinese and Thai Consumers". The study examines what and how personal values influence consumers’ mall shopping behavior in two non-Western countries, China and Thailand.  Among the main results, the research finds that Chinese shoppers are guided more by self-transcendence and self-enhancement values, whereas Thais shoppers are guided more by openness to change values.  We would like to congratulate soon-to-be CMMU Ph.D. graduate Yuanfeng (Bonnie) and her CMMU faculty advisor Dr. Randall with their achievement!
