CMMU Case Studies on Sustainable Leadership Published in Textbook Launched Worldwide

on .

Along with cases of other leading-edge enterprises such as Wal-Mart, British Telecom and Holcim, two case studies on Sustainable Leadership at Kasikornbank and Sa Paper Preservation House by Assistant Professor Dr. Sooksan Kantabutra have been published in a textbook entitled “Diagnosing Leadership in Global Organisations: Theories, Tools and Cases” launched worldwide by Tilde University Press.

Kasikornbank and Sa Paper Preservation House are sustainable because both deliver strong performance, endure difficult economic and social crises, and maintain a leadership position in their relevant market over time. The two case studies are part of ongoing Sufficiency Economy Leadership Practices research at CMMU.

Against the mainstream practices of maximizing short-term shareholder/owner value, the leadership practices at Kasikornbank and Sa Paper Preservation House are exemplary practices for enterprises around the world to follow if they wish to be sustainable.

Publication of these case studies confirms CMMU’s status as an Asian business school that leads.
