An article on “Personal values and mall shopping behavior: The mediating role of intention among Chinese consumers” by Dr. Yuanfeng Cai, CMMU Ph.D. graduate, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Randall Shannon, CMMU faculty member, has been published in the International Journal of Retail and Distribution Management. The article identifies personal values that determine the mall shopping behaviour of Chinese consumers, such as self-transcendence and self-enhancement, which are markedly different from the values driving the shopping behavior of Western consumers. The International Journal of Retail and Distribution Management is indexed in the Scopus database and in the 1st quartile of the Scimago journal ranking. This research is a part of Dr. Yuanfeng (Bonnie)'s doctoral dissertation at CMMU, and the 2nd article published in an international journal.
