CMMU researchers present corporate sustainability indicators at Thailand Research Fund.

CMMU researchers deliver a progress presentation on development of Sufficiency Economy corporate sustainability indicators and standard to the Thailand Research Fund. This project is funded by the Office of the Royal Development Projects Board with an aim to promote and disseminate sustainable business practices according to the Sufficiency Economy philosophy nationwide.


The project involves with identifying corporate sustainability indicators, develops a corporate sustainability standard and its appraisers, and with in-depth interviews of 20 sustainable enterprises of all sizes in Thailand. One of the final products will be a series of videos showing how successful businesses in Thailand manage their own marketing, finance, human resources, risks, operations and services, and innovation and technology according to the Sufficiency Economy philosophy.


With a peak body of cross-disciplinary researchers in this area, CMMU has pioneered the Sufficiency Economy business research in Thailand. The current project is a continuing research work, extending the collective body of knowledge CMMU embarked on building since 2004.
