CMMU Faculty Member Presented his Research at NUS Business School

on .

On Friday 25 October Associate Professor Roy Kouwenberg presented his research in a seminar organized by the Finance Department of NUS Business School, at the National University of Singapore.

The paper presented by Dr. Roy investigates whether ambiguity aversion can explain who so few people own stocks, using a large representative sample of U.S. households. Ambiguity aversion refers to the fact that most people dislike making decisions when the probabilities of the outcomes are not known exactly.

The research is joint work with Steve Dimmock (Nanyang, Singapore), Kim Peijnenburg (Bocconi, Italy) and Olivia Mitchell (Wharton, UPenn).
