Faculty member speaks at the 1st SEAMEO Youth Leadership Forum

On October 4, 2014, Associate Professor Dr. Sooksan Kantabutra was invited by the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO) to speak on the topic of Sustainable Development: The Critical Role of the Private Sector at its first SEAMEO Youth Leadership Forum which brought over 30 high-potential, young leaders from Southeast Asian countries to Bangkok.

Dr. Kantabutra’s talk addresses a decade of research into the application of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s philosophy of Sufficiency Economy into Thailand’s business sector, findings of which are used to inform the nation’s overall sustainable development.

The Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO) is an international organization established in 1965 among governments of Southeast Asian countries to promote regional cooperation in education, science and culture in Southeast Asia.
