CMMU Faculty contributes in “Thailand’s sustainable Development sourcebook.”



Asst. Prof. Dr. Molraudee Saratan, CMMU’s full-time faculty member has contributed in the newly launch book entitled “Thailand’s Sustainable Development Sourcebook”. The Book provides an incredible array of information, ideas and inspiration through more than 60 articles on the subject, written by experts in the field. Topics covered include energy, income inequality, forest conservation, transportation, the impact of climate change and more. This illustrated and highly readable book begins by distilling the key concepts of sustainable development. It then uniquely defines the issues at stake by profiling the key environmental, economic, social and cultural challenges faced by Thailand. The final and largest section of the book is a showcase of the ideas, individual pioneers, grassroots and community programmes affordable paper, international partnerships and private sector initiatives that are paving the way for sustainable development. Dr. Saratan contributed in the chapter entitled: “Education for Sustainable Development”.
