BEST PAPER AWARD FOR CMMU FULL-TIME FACULTY RESEARCH PAPER

Congratulations to Dr. Suparak Suriyankietkaew, CMMU faculty who won the Best Paper Award from the International Conference on Leadership and Innovation 2016. This conference was held in Berlin, Germany between 20 and 21 July 2016. Dr. Suparak’s winning paper entitled “Strategic Leadership Practices for Corporate Sustainability: An Empirical Analysis” This paper focuses on the empirical study of leadership practices among Thai corporations and found that some leadership practices can enhance long-term corporate performance and sustainability. Findings also indicated that innovation, high quality and stakeholder consideration significantly and positively predicted enhanced long-term corporate performance. Thus, the evidence suggests that innovation, high quality and stakeholder consideration are the key drivers for corporate sustainability. Organizations should apply and integrate these strategic leadership factors in their organizational leadership and management to grow their corporate performance, competitive success and sustainability in the long run.
