CMMU Faculty Awarded the Prestigious Royal Golden Jubilee Grant of 2 Million Baht

Dr. Sooksan Kantabutra is one of only two scholars in Thailand who are this year awarded the prestigious Royal Golden Jubilee-PhD grants (โครงการปริญญาเอกกาญจนาภิเษก) in the field of management from Thailand Research Fund, in co-operation with the Office of the Higher Education Commission and the National Science and Technology Development Agency.

Commemorating His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej's Golden Jubilee year of reign, the prestigious Royal Golden Jubilee-PhD program was set up in 1999 to produce PhD graduates at the international standard to meet the demand of the country.  Being the most successfully program, it has so far produced 1,046 PhD graduates with 2,380 internationally refereed journal publications and 39 patents.

Listed as one of the Royal Golden Jubilee awardees, Assistant Professor Dr. Sooksan Kantabutra will be able to choose a highly qualified PhD student from a national pool of applicants to study with him at CMMU in the field of leadership.  The chosen PhD student will be fully sponsored for his/her study at CMMU by the Royal Golden Jubilee-PhD program.  This includes a period of time spent overseas to work with an internationally recognized scholar in the field of leadership.
