Takako Yamashita

Takako Yamashita is Professor in University of Marketing and Distribution Science (UMDS) , Japan. She holds a MBA and a Ph.D. in Commerce from Kobe University.  She specializes in consumer and financial behavior of households.  She has published some papers of macro structure of consumption and financial portfolio selection with aging and low-birth-rate society, from the aspect of householder’s age, cohort and period effects. Boonying is currently a part-time lecturer at the College of management, Mahidol University.  In addition, he is also an EVP & COO of True Value (Thailand).  Prior to his present work, he has experiences in banking, and real-estate business.  He received his bachelor's degree in Economics with honors from Chulalongkorn University in Thailand, a M.S. in Finance with Academic Excellence from University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, and a M.S. in Management from Assumption University in Thailand.  His research interests are retailing, customer shopping behaviour, and life-course studies.  Recently, he has been working on two research papers focusing on the relationship between age and life satisfaction, and the effects of religiosity and culture on materialism in Malaysia using the Life-course approach.

Florian Kohlbacher

Dr. Florian Kohlbacher is a senior research fellow at the German Institute for Japanese Studies (DIJ) Tokyo, Japan. He holds both a master’s degree and a doctorate from the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU Vienna). His research focuses on the business implications of demographic change, particularly from a marketing and innovation management perspective. He has presented papers on this topic at marketing, management and gerontology conferences around the globe and published papers in Ageing International, Sex Roles: A Journal of Research and International Journal of Human Resources Development and Management, among others. Dr. Kohlbacher is a Fellow of the World Demographic & Ageing Forum and an Advisor to the International Mature Marketing Network (IMMN). He is author of “International Marketing in the Network Economy: A Knowledge-Based Approach”, Palgrave, 2007 and co-editor of “The Silver Market Phenomenon: Marketing and Innovation in the Aging Society”, 2nd edition 2011, Springer. Bertrand Urien

You need JavaScript enabled to view it ) is Doctor in Marketing from the University of Rennes 1, and full Professor at the University of Western Brittany (France). His research focuses on the impact of time, death and aging on consumer behavior. His current interest is the donation of objects and practices of legacy in the elderly through the concept of generativity. He has published papers in various journals like, Journal of Business Research, Psychology and Marketing, Journal of Macromarketing, Advances in Consumer Research, Time and Society, Recherche et Applications en Marketing, Revue Française de Gestion, Décisions Marketing.

Vassiliki Grougiou

Dr Vassiliki Grougiou holds an MSc from Stirling University, and a PhD from Strathclyde University, Glasgow. Prior joining IHU, Grougiou was employed in marketing positions in the services sector. Her research focuses on consumer behaviour, services, and social marketing. She has a particular interest in consumers' (dis)satisfaction, ethical behaviour, complaints and preventive health. Grougiou's research work has appeared in the Journal of Financial Services Marketing, Journal of Customer Behaviour, Journal of Marketing Management and in the European Marketing Academy Proceedings. She received the Best Paper Award at the Academy of Marketing Conference in Leeds (2009) for the paper “Seniors’ attitudes towards voiced complaints: a qualitative study”.

Teerasak Jindabot

Teerasak Jindabot is a Marketing Lecturer, and Director of the MBA program in the Department of Business Administration at the Faculty of Management Science, Prince of Songkla University, Thailand. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Marketing with Second class honor from Prince of Songkla University, earned M.B.A. in Marketing from Kasetsart University, and hold Ph.D. in Marketing from Thammasat University, Thailand. He was the Deputy Dean for Research and International Affairs, and the Deputy Dean for Academics and International Affairs at the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Management Sciences, Prince of Songkla University. He received teaching and out-standing staff awards in 2011. His research areas are in psychological marketing and consumer behavior. He also published several research articles and reviews in national journals.
